Haute Couture Rome FW 2016-17, Arnoldo Battois
It’s an ontology of being which celebrates the dynamism, new, it’s an alchemy made of conflicting elements, catchy dichotomies concerning the construction, lines, volumes, texture, patterns, the seasonal cycle, lights and colors is what shines in the capsule collection of brand. Suggestive are the visions where the floral patterns, iconic peonies – reminding the East and its culture – overlap with graphic, sporty-chic geometries, emphasized by bright textures, as silver lurex, black silk satin and join to brocades and the other materials featuring in the collection (triple, file-coupé organza, silk jacquard, silk satin, silk chiffon, silk cady, wool crêpe, wool muslin, eco-leather, wool bi-stretch jersey). Animal patterns and design of gothic glass windows are some of prints impressed in the chiffon, wool muslin and crêpe. The volumes are plastic, caress the waist and enhance the shoulders through a series of innovative constructions.
